These are great lessons. Some I need to learn myself, especially the first one about managing time. I might just give that 30-minute walk thing a try as well it would definitely wake me up in the morning

Very clear and attainable things to strive for each day. People tend to forget to appreciate their own potential and what’s possible with just a little effort. In general, it wouldn’t hurt any of us to be a bit more perceptive and positive about what we do in our daily lives.

This is a really great article/list – like it. Down to earth and real.

I think lots of people are reassessing these days, and if there’s any good to be said about the recession, it is that – people are taking a step back and realistically assessing (and having to admit, good or bad) the way they are, or have been – at a human, money, social, everything level. Humility is good.

Its too bad it takes down-turns for many to reflect, but hey – I guess we’ll take what we can get. I’m at least appreciative, or at least hopeful for that in society at large. Seeing improvements in basic human character is always good.

This article really made me think about a lot of things. Time is running away and when we are working working working for MONEY we are loosing maybe the only thing that we can not gain again; our youth… And yes I agree, 30 minutes walk, hit a Starbucks and grap a Frappucino (Love it)and its really easy to start a good day.
By the way you made me smile when I read about 1999, was there some economic crises in the world in those years??? That year it was the first time that I falled in love and also it was my best year of life.
Thanks for making me think, smile and fulfill with new hopes for 2009.
