I don't see much traffic from it, but still it counts as an online presence, which is always good for bloggers, since blogging seems to mutate into a huge online network of digg/tweet/youtube/etc. If you're visible on Twitter or YouTube, it that's some kind of a boost to your blog. Inbetween my blog, facebook, youtube and email I'm already spending so much time online I can't justify more on letting people know I'm doing laundry, or reading, or whatever. Truth is, I don't need to know what my friends are doing every hour, and I'm sure they're not biting their nails about what I'm up to all the time either. If twitter works for you I won't stand in your way. But if I need to get in touch, I've got a cell phone and 100 other ways of contacting and updating you already :) I have to be honest, I’m not crazy about twitter.
